TJ Sweet

I’ve always believed that the most meaningful moments in life happen when we slow down long enough to notice them.

But I didn’t learn that in a textbook or during a keynote — I learned it the hard way, through real-life experiences that forced me to reevaluate what truly matters.

For more than 20 years, I’ve been leading teams, coaching leaders, and standing on stages helping people reconnect with gratitude, purpose, and connection. My work is rooted in one mission: help people live and lead with intention. Not perfection, not pressure — intention.

What I teach on stage is what I’ve lived in my own life.

I’ve navigated the pressure of leadership inside a healthcare system. I’ve rebuilt purpose after setbacks. I’ve held onto gratitude through moments that could have hardened me. And I’ve learned, again and again, that connection is the most powerful force we have.

I’ve had the honor of speaking to thousands across the country — from healthcare teams and corporate leaders to associations and high-achieving professionals. I’ve written books, launched a podcast, and coached leaders not because I had everything figured out, but because I know what it’s like to wrestle with doubt, overwhelm, and the weight of expectations.

My keynote messages come straight from the real world. From experiences that broke me open. From moments that redefined what matters. From the people who trusted me to help them find clarity, courage, and meaning again. Whether I’m on a stage, behind a microphone, or sitting with a team in a conference room, my goal is always the same — to help people pause, breathe, reset, and move forward with more purpose and more heart.

When I’m not speaking or coaching, you’ll usually find me on the golf course, recording my podcast Living the Sweet Life, coaching clients, or spending time with the people who remind me daily why gratitude is the foundation of everything.

If there’s one thing I know for sure, it’s this: You are capable of so much more than you think. And sometimes, all it takes is a spark — a story, a perspective, a reminder — to help you see it again.
That’s why I do this work. I’d be honored to bring that spark to your event, your team, or your organization.

Real People Real Results

“We really enjoyed having TJ speak with us during our Leadership Week. He did a nice job listening to us to better understand what we would like to hear and then left it up to him to deliver his message. His message was just right as we were all still navigating Covid, the uncertainty we were all dealing with and everything going on in society. His message resonated with many and would be welcome most anywhere as gratitude is contagious and something everyone can use.”

TJ Sweet was a fantastic Keynote Speaker for our Team Retreat! We were in a very casual setting and TJ was very accommodating and adaptable to our environment. I loved the non-formal presentation that he provided. Simply having a conversation not a lecture! It is apparent that TJ is passionate about his mission and moments of joy that he brings to the team are very personable. Everyone could relate to his message and definitely were able to take home valuable lessons and tools! Great job TJ…look forward in seeing you again in the future!
